Let's face it - your pain doesn't go away just because the Corona virus is here. In 2020, the world is facing one of the biggest challenges in modern medical history, the outbreak of the COVID-19 (Corona) virus. We have developed a Position statement document will be updated regularly as new information and procedures evolve. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of infection control while still providing the essential community-based service of physiotherapy. Position Statement of In Control Physiotherapy in response to the Corona Virus (COVID-19)

What we are doing to keep you safe

We have increased our disinfectant and sanitising procedures. All bed surfaces and equipment are sanitised after every patient, and all linen is changed between patients. Although these measures are standard practice for us, we have also introduced regular disinfecting of all waiting room and facility surfaces.
We have made hand washing facilities available in reception to allow patients to wash before and after treatment.
All patients are being screened prior to attendance at the practice and anyone who is currently experiencing flu like symptoms, has had contact with a confirmed Corona case or has recently returned from overseas are being excluded until such time as they have medical clearance.
For patients who wish to socially distance themselves in the waiting room, we invite you to SMS us when you reach the parking lot and wait in your car. We will SMS you when your treatment room is ready to proceed straight to.
For patients who are unwell or at risk, we have introduced Telehealth. You can have a video consultation with your physiotherapist where we can assess and diagnose you, prescribe exercises, teach self mobilisation techniques and give you tips and advice on how to manage your condition. Lastly, for patients who would prefer not to handle cash or have us handle your cards, you may pay ahead of your appointment over the phone, or by bank transfer - just let us know if you wish to take this option.
